Sneak Pick!

These pictures are part of test renders from different scenes. I know there are some render errors in theses pictures (like pixelation around the characters and tiny black outline around some objects which is caused by combustion) but they are still ok to show as early renders of the movie.

Check this out...

There are about 10 shots already animated, and about 10 more to be animated soon.
I have also done some test rendering of the first view shots which I'm Not going to share! :)

Here some test renders of the Galatea model, shader and texture. Tell me what you think about it.

Animating...

It's coulpe of days that I have started the animating. I haven't get to animate Galatea yet. I'm animating Pygmalion shots now. Galatea shots are more complex, -but still- I can't wait to start her shots.

the deadline is getting very close, I have only till 28th of September to finish everything. less than 2 months now. We are in one week holidays now, but we don't really consider it holidays, as most people are here working during the day.

Rigging is almost done!

It's been a while I haven't post anything here. I've been pretty busy Rigging the characters. They are almost done now. I'm doing some tests with the characters and fixing some small rigging errors.
oh, did I mention that I finally finished the hair!? I changed the whole design. What do you think?

Next step, I'm going to start texturing. It's gonna take a while because I suck at shading and texturing.

here are some test renders of Galatea. There is no texture yet, just the default Lambert shader:

poly hair

I'm working on Galatea hair for a few days now. I can't get it right. It looks aweful. The main design is very intelligent, but it's not easy to turn that into 3d.

I'm trying zBrush to see if I can create bump maps, but I can't believe this is so confusing to transfer files and maps between zBrush and Maya!! The only time I could do that was more like an accident.

David said it looks like a huge turd on her head! lol
